Your Security. Your Future.

Ryan's Mission

Ryan is running for United State’s Congress for one reason and one reason only: The physical and financial security of you and your family.

Ryan understands how the Federal Government has robbed the poor and middle classes by not managing inflation, allowing a tax code that only benefits the rich, refusing to go after monopolistic practices, and always avoiding the healthcare affordability crisis. As a Congressman, I will do what lawmakers were meant to do: write, debate, and vote on federal laws that specifically benefit the working class.  I believe my experience and grit will benefit the constituents of Michigan’s 3rd District.

Issues

Healthcare

Ryan understands that the lack of affordable healthcare will not be fixed overnight, but there are immediate steps that can help people access coverage such as expanding Medicaid and auditing both health insurers and healthcare providers to ensure funds are being used to care for those who need it most. In the long term, Ryan will introduce legislation to simplify healthcare coverage and eliminate co-pays and deductibles, while still allowing non-government-funded insurance to flourish and compete. A proper healthcare system should ensure that no American goes uninsured, combining strong government-funded coverage with a competitive private sector, working complimentary to one another to maximize access, choice, and affordability.

Affordability Crisis

Wages haven’t kept up with the cost of living. Over the years, basics like housing, healthcare, education, and insurance have gotten much more expensive far faster than people’s paychecks have grown. If elected to Congress, Ryan will vote for a balanced budget to reduce inflation, work to close tax loopholes for the ultra-wealthy and corporations; and consistently encourage the Executive Branch to direct the Department of Justice Antitrust Division to go after companies that violate antitrust laws. He will also introduce legislation to audit large companies’ wages to ensure they are making a good-faith effort to keep up with cost-of-living increases for their employees, while rewarding smaller businesses by lowering their taxes if they can demonstrate they are providing raises or bonuses to their employees.

National Security - Foreign Policy

Ryan believes our national security must always be a top priority, but opposes entering long, drawn-out foreign wars like those in Vietnam or Iraq. He supports a balanced, America-first foreign policy engaging only when there is a direct threat to our nation or our allies while prioritizing investment in advanced technology, elite training, and the best equipment for our military.

Money in Politics

Money has too much influence in politics right now, and while some donations are reported to the Federal Election Commission, a lot of it still isn’t fully transparent. A small group of big donors and outside groups can spend huge amounts, sometimes through layers that make it hard to see where the money really comes from.

We need strict donation caps, real transparency so every dollar is traceable, and stronger enforcement to close loopholes so elections are decided by voters, not by who can spend the most. Ryan will introduce and vote on legislation to assist in this process.

Energy Policy

Right now, our economy still relies heavily on fossil fuels and pretending otherwise isn’t realistic. But we can take practical, proven steps to reduce emissions while we transition: improve fuel efficiency and expand lower-emission vehicles, invest in next-generation nuclear for reliable zero-carbon power, scale solar and wind where they’re cost-effective, and modernize the grid to support it all.

We should also advance carbon capture for certain industrial uses and power generation, so we can cut emissions without shutting down key parts of the economy. The goal isn’t an overnight switch it’s a steady, responsible transition that keeps energy reliable and affordable while moving toward a cleaner future.
